Waitlist privacy notice

Helen collects your email address, confirmation that you are 18 or older, broad Melbourne area, consent choices, and advertising attribution attached to your visit. If you follow or share a Helen referral link, we also record the referral code, the relationship between the referring and referred waitlist entries, and first-party events such as referral-link visits and successful sharing actions. With your explicit consent, you may also provide an age band, gender, and the genders you would like to meet. We use these details to manage the launch waitlist, understand aggregate local demand and whether a launch cohort can offer useful candidate coverage, measure referrals, send updates you request, and prevent abuse. Advertising measurement occurs only when you allow it.

Advertising measurement

Google, Meta and Reddit measurement scripts remain disabled unless you select “Allow measurement”. If enabled, those providers may set cookies and receive browser and campaign identifiers. After a successful waitlist signup, Helen sends the normalized email address you supplied to Reddit for advanced matching. Helen does not send your age band, gender, dating preferences, compatibility answers, messages, or precise location to browser advertising tools.

Your choices

Launch emails are optional. Helen emails include links to unsubscribe while keeping your waitlist place or to delete your waitlist entry. Deleting your entry removes your referral code, referral relationships, and referral-sharing events. You may also request either action by emailing privacy@helen.dating.

Storage and access

Waitlist information will be stored using Google Cloud services in Australia where the selected service supports it. Access is restricted to people who need it to operate and secure the launch. Retention periods and any overseas service providers will be confirmed before accepting production signups.
